2004
2004 was a year of joys and trials. We said goodbye to my Grandmother and to my cousin's husband, Terry. We welcomed Mike and Mary Beth's son, Ryan, into the world, and adopted Grendel, the crazy puppy. We took a whirlwind road trip to New York, New Jersey, Washington DC and North Carolina in July, and camped in Tennessee in October. Alex started 2nd grade and turned 8 years old, and Patrick started Kindergarten and turned 6 years old. But perhaps the most dramatic events of 2004 were Hurricanes Charley, Frances and Jeanne.
